My customers are constantly paying only the 10% GST amount on my invoices because by default the GST amount is UNDER the invoice total, instead of after the net amount figure and above the gross total. Is there a way to edit the invoice to move the GST number to the more logical an common placement above the gross total?

You are using tax-inclusive pricing. If you switch to tax-exclusive pricing, the display will be as you wish. Just uncheck the box on the entry screen. You will, of course, have to modify your pricing.
