Recurring Purchase Invoice & custom theme

I have recurring purchase invoices set up, which I use a custom theme for. When I generate them, the custom theme tick box is not being generated, which means I am now having to go back into every one and tick the box. It wasn’t doing this previously, but I have had it happen the last few months. Is there a way to fix this please?

I have 2 other tick boxes activated on the recurring purchase invoices, which are carrying through when I generate them. (column description & footer)

Thanks, Berni

Go to settings ->recurring transactions → Recurring Sales Invoices then

Click on form defaults (see screenshot bottom-right) and select whatever you want to show on these recurring invoices.

thankyou Eko for your reply. Unfortunately, this is not fixing the problem

It should, so show screenshots. Obviously it will not work for existing ones. There you could use batch operations. You can solicit the guides or the forum on how to do batch updates.

I did try creating a new recurring purchase invoice before replying earlier, but have done another as per below. As you can see, the generated invoice does not have the tick box for custom theme activated. I am using the desktop version and updated it earlier today before asking on the forum. Having to batch update them all every month sort of defeats the purpose of having the option of setting the paraments of the recurring invoice in the first place.

I confirm that the activated Custom Theme on a Recurring Sales Invoice does not carry over to the Sales Invoice itself when created

THis is a bug imho

@Joe91 and @quiltyfleur It works for me but as explained you must in the recurring invoices change the Form Defaults there to the selected custom theme.

I can edit the pending invoice and the custom theme is selected, but when I create the pending invoice, the custom theme is inactive

You are right, the actual creation does not take the default theme with it, as this is unexpected behaviour @Lubos needs to fix this and therefore topic is moved to the bugs category.

How to add other theme!
