Profit & Loss Report w/ Year as Parameter

I was wondering if there was a way to have a “year” as parameter in which case we could build a monthly comparative P&L (Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, …) for the current year.

This way it will display the same data but for the following year. The way it works currently, I will have to change all the dates at the end of the year. Or is there something I am doing wrong?

Comparative reporting is flexible but you will need to change the dates in the following year. Changing the dates takes very little time and puts you in control of tailoring the reports to your specific requirements.
