Problem with creating a new sales invoice template

This is my first post. First of all my sincere thanks for making such a wonderful software available for all.

I was trying to modify the sales invoice template and i ran into some problem.

  1. From Settings tab —> clicked on View templates.
  2. Modified the HTML code. Named the new template as sample.
  3. Tried to preview, It says “sales invoice not selected.” I am unable to select anything from the Markup.

Please let me know how to do this.

Create an actual invoice in the sales invoice tab then go back to view templates and you should be able to select that invoice.
