I entered an opening balance but have decided to enter data prior to the opening balance I have already entered. How do I change the opening balance?
Two steps:
- Change the Start Date under Settings.
- Change the Starting Balance for affected accounts the same place you originally entered them.
For most accounts you have created, click Edit for the account under Settings => Chart of Accounts. For other accounts, read these Guides:
