Non-Inventory Freight-In

I purchase non-Inventory Items ( Fresh Fish ) which I sell Immediately. I incur freight-In expenses not billed by the Supplier. Would the in-built Freight-In tick box help me in any way? If I add freight-in I do not see the Freight amount Debited in any of the accounts. its almost as if it doesn’t exist. I cannot use inventory as I cannot track inventory.

The freight-in concept does not apply to non-inventory items, because Manager does not calculate average cost for them. The point of treating freight-in for inventory items in a different way is to include the costs in the cost of goods sold. Non-inventory items you purchase are simply recorded as expenses.
