Non inventory cost Unit price to multiply with total quantity of production

Hi, is there any way I can set the unit price for non-inventory cost and the manager itself gives the me the total cost for an item by multiplying with the total quantity of the production. Because right now whenever I am making a production order, I need a calculator by side to enter the cost of non-inventory items manually.

Manager cannot calculate total non-inventory costs as you describe. However, you can enter the calculations directly into the non-inventory cost field and Manager will perform the arithmetic. For example, if adding labor at 50 per hour and a unit requires 2 hours, simply enter 50*2. When you move to the next field on the production order, 100 will appear in the field you exited. Note, this is not a spreadsheet formula, so no equal sign is needed. This works in any numerical field in Manager.

So, you do not need a separate calculator or calculator application. But you do not get the automatic lookup capability.

If you search the ideas category, you will find some old discussions suggesting improvements to production orders, including per unit bills of materials that would address your desire. Continue any discussion there.
