How should Manager handle this ideally? One idea I have is that it could import each CSV line as 2 separate transactions (one for gross amount, another one for the fee). This would allow to use simple receipt and payment rules to quickly categorize them.

I already told you I have no experience with Square.

square is just another CC Merchandise, we use to collect CC Payments, nothing special about it. Every CC Merchandise company will give you that report.

What is special about Square is its specific fee structure and the way it reports transactions. Every credit card processor is unique in that way. There is no standard.

is the same as paypal as it also has Fees.

That does not mean their statement formats are the same.

Looks like a receipt bank rule. I didn’t generate it & I agree showing the bread crumbs in screenshots is preferable for precisely this reason.
