Inventory starting balances or unit cost

Hello all, to set up a new business, having enter the Inventory starting balances, do I have to go set up Inventory units cost?

No. For starting inventory balance either use Journal Entry or use Starting Balance under settings.

I used starting balance under setting but the inventory cost account isn’t showing on P & L a
fter selling same item

Go to inventory tab and click on Recalculate button.
