help me how to add buttom or custom coloms for down payment in sales invoice and purchase invoice please, thanks

It depends on whether you are requesting down payment or if you want to acknowledge actual down payment.

If you have received a down payment for an invoice, you need to go back to the said payment and edit it and apply it to the invoice and it should be automatically reflected on the invoice.

To request down payment, you can either use a Custom Field or a Footer.

Although not updated to include code for other things such as footers the principle remains the same. Please see FAQ - Manager Forum where it states:
