Dears,
Could you please help to understand why this fixed assets acquisition shown in operating cash flows.
Other assets are duly in investing activities.
Thank you so much.
Please show the edit screen of that account.
I can confirm this. I think some background work is being done and this is a side effect. The goal is to be able to move any type of control account to any cashflow statement group and also to any classification on the statement (Operating, financing and Investment).
I wonder if the changes on the account of non-trade payables (balances of suppliers who supply non-current items) should be disclosed together with the changes in Trade payables in the cash flow from operating activities or separated and disclosed in the cash flow from investing activities section @Ealfardan?
You mean like payables for fixed assets or investments? Never really thought of it before you brought this up but in concept it seems like it should be but in practice I haven’t seen anybody do it yet.
But that would be an improvement if you ask me.
I have four control accounts in Fixed Assets. Transactions in two goes to Financing and One of the other goes to Operating. Other is not used yet. Just as an additional information thinking it would be useful.
Fixed in the latest version (21.9.35)
Thank you so much @lubos .
