Fifo not working

Im recording the purchase for 3 different dates with 3 different cost, then i record 3 invoice with different quantity and date, the results show it use average as calculation, this is considered as bug right? Or do i misunderstood on how FIFO work?

That does sound a bit odd, as far as I understood with FIFO, Manager should be using the oldest available purchase layers first, not averaging all the purchase costs.

Yeah, is there any solution for my problem? Like how’s your version is it fine or not?

demonstrate it with a simple example and screesnhots.

having the same problem here, the unit cost changes even though i only have one purchase

The cost of first purchase are more higher than the sales cost but the quantity of sale are more higher

What I mean is that you should create a test business, create the relevant item, and use simple transactions to demonstrate the issue. Your screenshots should clearly show the purchases, sales, and all related transactions so that your point can be properly understood and verified.

I will look into this later today. Since two people have now reported the same issue, I will continue to monitor it and add it to the list of bugs for further attention. However, forum members should understand the importance of providing clear evidence when reporting problems. This includes screenshots of transactions, listings, ledgers, and reports that fully explain the issue being encountered (from data entry to reports).

You can even go a step further by attaching a test business that you created specifically to demonstrate the problem. Doing so greatly assists the developer in understanding the issue and can significantly speed up the investigation and resolution process.

Manager.io does not support FIFO, even if you select the FIFO in the Inventory Costing setting, Manager will still use weighted average.
