Depreciation Accumalative

Can anyone tell me pls what happens to the Acc Depreciation at the end of the period?
Is it like a saving in the account?
Can it be used to make a new purchase?

Accumulated depreciation is a permanent contra account. It remains on the balance sheet, offsetting the acquisition costs of fixed assets to establish book value. When the underlying asset is disposed, both components are removed. That is fundamental accounting that Manager implements. It cannot be used to purchase new assets. It is not money.

This and other questions you have asked indicate a need to learn basic accounting before you can use the program. No tool can be used effectively until you understand what it is supposed to do.

Thank you @Tut . I do not know why this forum is here. I thought it is to learn the program and get assistance where one gets to a “T-Junction” rather to tell somebody to take a basic accounting course. Thank you again for your answer on my question.

There are better sites for an introduction to accounting. This site specialises in how to use Manager software.

The forum supports use of the application, not education about general accounting knowledge. Your question is clearly in the second category.

@Patch @Tut. I did say thank you for the answer on my question.
