Can someone help me with Cash basis adjustment

Why is this Cash basis adjustment showing a negative amount when the sale has made a new receipt and paid. I’m not understand this new feature.

If the Accounts Receivable balances from the Customers tab are all nil as at the date of the report you are viewing then there should be no Cash basis adjustment.

Thanks Tony, I still can’t grasp the concept. When I’m reporting my BAS statement it’s not showing income as in the screen shot above however, in Profit and Loss reports it shows as income.
Very confused with this.

Are you comparing the profit & loss on a cash basis with the BAS on a cash basis?

It might be clearer if you posted the P & L and BAS figures
