I’d like to do some analysis and comparisons of the freight-in charges on my past purchase invoices. Where can I find that data? I know the freight in gets allocated to inventory, but shouldn’t I be able to pull that inf so I can see if it’s going up or down, or just to know how much I’ve paid in freight this year?
There is no easy way to do that, because automatic freight-in is added to the value of the inventory items on the purchase invoice. If you want to track freight costs, you cannot use the automatic feature, but must post them to a dedicated account.
