Viewing all accounts within a group

is there a way to show a report/view that shows all meat expenses regardless of sub-account?

I would like to see a list where all meat items are shown.

In this example, I’d like to be able to click on the 57.27 group total and see a list of all accounts under it and the individual costs against each one.

Is this (or something similar) possible?

Assuming that “Meat” is your cost, you can create a New Group and a New Total in the income statement (chart of accounts) as “Cost of Sales”, and put it in the middle of Income and Expenses. That way you should get something like this:

As you can see, you can put all your meat accounts and put a “Gross Profit” amount before expenses so you can see your real gross profit before expenses. I hope this can help you.
