Transformation of Inventory Item to a new Item

Hi

I was wondering how to transform an Inventory Item to a new Item.

Example:
There are 1450 Pcs of item no. ABC in stock.
It is found that 280 Pcs have turned rusty.
The owner decides to separate the rusty items to sell them at discounted price.
For this he allots a new inventory Item ABC-ii for them.
Finally, the stock is
ABC - 1170 Pcs
ABC-ii - 280 Pcs

How can this be done in Manager?
