Here is a test example. I made two customers.
While the language is english, i search for “دیاری” which is a Kurdish name, non of the two customers have this name so it returns nothing
But now i change the language of the software to Kurdish (کوردی) now when i press search, nothing happens
I’ve been using this software for two years, no other name i encountered had this problem. here is an example of another name that doesn’t exist
it correctly says that it cant be found.
This must be an internal bug or something. I suspect there are names that have this problem in other languages too.
One note if you’re debugging, the name “دیاری” is part of the words that mean “select” or “selection” i think the database query makes a mistake or something because of that
The advanced query doesnt have this problem too. it only happens when i search directly in the customers tab
Hi, I’m a Kurdish user of Manager.io as well.
Your example is not correct the name “دیاری” is not part of the words like “کڕیاری یەک”.
Edit: Typo
Slaw Kak Bawar
You didn’t understand the problem. Non of the two customers have “دیاری” in them, so the result of (typing دیاری in the search field and pressing enter) should return an empty list, like the first image
but when i do the search it shows the list of customers even though دیاری is not found
this only happenes when the language of the software is set to کوردی, when the langauge is English it shows that دیاری is not found

see, the کوردی isn’t saying “Empty” but the english does
if i search for ئاسۆ instead which is also not found, it returns an empty list (which is the correct behavior)
Sorry I miss understood your post. But You are right this is a bug.
I made some tests myself and its seems like the combo of these two letters “دی” breaks the search results and returns everything when the language of the interface is set to Kurdish.
I just tested it in 26.2.20.3187 and its fixed. not sure when since i delayed the update due to some other issues
