Suggested UI Improvement – Visual Distinction Between Master and Transaction Tabs

Hello,

I would like to suggest a small enhancement that could improve the user experience in Manager, especially for new users.

Currently, the sidebar contains two different types of tabs:

  1. Master (setup) tabs such as Customers, Suppliers, Employees, Assets, etc.

  2. Operational (transaction) tabs such as Sales Invoices, Purchase Invoices, Payments, Journal Entries, etc.

For new users, it may not always be immediately clear which tabs are intended for initial setup (master data) and which are used for daily transaction recording.

I would like to suggest adding a subtle visual distinction to the master/setup tabs, for example:

  • Slightly bolder font weight,

  • A subtle underline, or

  • A slightly different shade or visual marker.

The goal is not to redesign the interface, but to improve structural clarity and make the workflow more intuitive. I believe this small visual enhancement could reduce confusion and make the navigation experience smoother, particularly for beginners.

Thank you to the development team for the continuous improvements and the excellent work on Manager.

Kind regards.

Good thinking.

:blue_circle: After using a few days you won’t be new user anymore.

AND

:blue_circle: Other users with limited access of tab will be confused even more if the UI changes as you suggested.
