# Starting balance problem

Hello again everyone, i updated my version of manager to 18.10.88 and suddenly i cant set a starting balance for inventory items. I mean when i write a new item in inventory i cant find anywhere the button or the way i can add the starting balance.IN my older version all i had to do was to create the item and tick a box and automatically the starting balance was an option.

second problem i experience is that for example yesterday i tried adjusting the start date and it was stuck to 29-10-2018.Today i opened the programm and set starting day as today.

can anyone help?

Read the guides about starting balances. The location for the function you described with inventory has been moved.
