Imo Manager supporting invoices with a payment schedule would be a more widely used function as described earlier in this thread

Currently, Manager.io does not have a dedicated retention field in sales invoices. The recommended workaround is to create a special control account named “Retention” under Settings > Control Accounts > Special Accounts and manually enter the retention amount for each invoice. This ensures the retention is tracked in accounting, though it must still be entered manually.
For full native support, Manager would need to add either a configurable label or a dedicated retention field in future releases.
This approach is compatible with clients like Aramco and platforms like Saudi Fatoora, ensuring invoices remain valid.
