Retaining html formatting in custom fields when exported as pdf

Hi,

I have a custom field set up in invoices, which has all of the relevant details that are common to all accounts.

When I create a sales invoice, everything is formatted correctly, but if I output to pdf, I lose all the formatting.

Is there an easy way to retain that formatting in the pdf?

PDF button is no longer supported. Use Print button then Save to PDF which will retain HTML formatting.

Thank you so much, lubos.

Love your work.

Is it possible to remove the faulty PDF button from future updates

Under Email Settings, set Format to Link.

This will remove PDF button from views. By default (for newly created businesses) it’s already removed.

  • The PDF functionality works perfectly well for me.
*Email links are faulty for me (as I choose an on-site server as I do not want my accounting program exposed to the internet)

So the exact opposite is my request, please don’t remove the only functional payroll email option (pdf)

Same here, but was already agreed by @Lubos, he only would no longer provide support to those that use it.

No worries Patch, glad it works for you, so I retract … It just annoyed me as it messes all the column spacing, so I have to refrain from using it
