hi everyone, may I ask who knows the checksum of the latest version…and maybe it would be better if there is a checksum for every latest version on the download page so we can check if we are downloading the original file…thanks in advance.
The version on the http://www.manager.io web site is always the latest version. The only risk is if you download from some software distributor. What problem are you trying to solve?
Publishing checksum on the website wouldn’t increase security at all.
The reason is that both download URL and website URL are accessible via plain unsecured HTTP protocol only. If someone goes through the effort of spoofing download link, then they will go through the effort of spoofing website too.
