There was a Reporting Category under settings that is no longer there; it is going to be added back as I have used it for reporting. local Cloud it is removed

Yes, it was removed following the introduction of Custom Buttons/Extensions.
However, if the feature is lightweight and does not add significant weight to the application, I believe it would be worthwhile to bring it back for users who want to create their own reports. It was indeed a very powerful and flexible tool.
@Abeiku, this is confusing, they co-existed. Extensions now Custom Buttons is totally different from Reporting Categories. The latter helps split management reports in a particular way such as for example, in a restaurant you might use reporting categories for:
- Dine-in / takeaway / delivery
- Bar / kitchen / events
- Branch A / Branch B
- Food sales / drinks sales / catering sales
Or a simple mixed farm, categories like:
- Poultry
- Crops
- Fishery
- Livestock
- Farm overhead
Thanks for the feedback. Is there another way to do that same thing that you know of that also work the same or better?
