# Recurring and automatic depreciation

Manager does not currently support automatic or recurring depreciation.

Depreciation entries must be posted manually for each period. For now, straight line depreciation can be handled by creating regular journal entries, but there is no built in scheduling for assets. This idea is already noted in the Ideas section.
