Query on attachment to Sales Order and Sales Invoice

  1. If we add an attachment to Sales Order , Then we moved the Sales Order to Sales Invoice . Is it possible to move at once to Sales Invoice the data of Sales Order together with the attachment ?

  2. Is there a limit in adding attachment to the Sales Order and Sales Invoice ?

  3. If there is no limit, then this is okay. However , if with limit, what is the maximum size limit on this.

Appreciate immediate feedback on this.

PS - currently the staff cannot move the attachment attached to Sales Order to Sales Invoice if the staff decided to transfer the SO to SI now… Thus, we need help on how to go about this ( moving at once the Sales Order data together with the attachment to SI ( sales Invoice ).

An attachment to a transaction is not copied when the transaction is copied or cloned.

Only the data in the transaction form is copied

You can attach the document to the Sales Invoice once it is created. There is no limit on the number of transactions an attachment is attached to
