Can we copy Sales orders into invoice or delivery and maintain the balance for future ?

What does it mean ?

I am unable to link Quote > Order > Invoice in the desktop version.

Balance for future means, If I have ordered 500 quantity on Jan 1st, the supplier delivered 200 on 1st Jan, 200 on 5th Jan, and 50 on 10th Jan. How do I keep calling my order or invoice and partially receive the quantities and see that 200+200+50 quantities have been received and 50 is pending order quantity.
