I thought that I saw a note somewhere saying that it’s now possible to “split” PayPal transactions to show the selling price and the fee as separate amounts.

Although I don’t download my PayPal statements and enter everything manually (credit the “full amount” to balance with the invoice and then enter the fees as a separate transaction), I was wondering if it’s possible to use this new feature in a similar way manually.

If it is, could someone please let me know how I can access the feature or function ?

I have searched but can’t find anything about it now so maybe it was just a dream that I had or further proof that I’m getting older and more senile 😄

The way it works is that when you import PayPal transactions, individual receipts will be already imported as split transactions so sales amount and the fee can be categorized using bank rules individually.
