I’ve seen this topic come up earlier on this forum, and i still think it as a watermark be added on the invoice so that the first copy printed should indicate as original and whatever follows can be duplicate and triplicate etc.

That would require 3 different custom themes. Other forum members have previously shared how they did it. Search before posting.
You could get the entire theme inside a for loop and cycle through the backgrounds.
