I have different products in inventory module, but when customers buy, I don’t use sales invoices in manager. I have a manual receipt (paper) I gave them. How do I report those sales (different products) to the journal? Or any better way to deal with this case
And what if I don’t even use the inventory module for my warehouse and still use manual receipt.
See this Guide: https://www.manager.io/guides/7321. You can give the customer a copy of the Receipt generated by Manager. If you are hand-writing receipts also, you will be duplicating efforts when you enter the same thing into Manager.
The only difference from using the inventory module is that you will not select anything in the Item field of the receipt. And you will lose the ability to track quantities. But there is no reason you must use the inventory module. Don’t forget, though, that you will need to recreate some other method for tracking the value of inventory on hand, the cost of goods sold, and so forth.
