Invoice numbering

Dear Sirs,

I noted this morning that our invoice numbering has alternated. Previously the numbering was 4 digits. This morning the numbering is now 20220000190039 (14 digits). Is anyone experiencing this and what is the reason.

Check your “history” some-one will have put somewhere an Invoice number of that size.

Actually the issue is related to receipt reference numbering which has changed from 4 digits to 14 digits. Has anyone experienced this before and what are the reasons

Did you check as I advised?

Have checked but cannot find anything except the our payable accountant is just using the reference number text box inputting manually. Could that be the reason. What do you think?

yes of course, someone will have entered a 14 digit number.

@Diascan, all you need to do is sort the Receipts tab by reference number to find the problem.
