Introducing Image Upload Compressions & Manager Lifecycle

I am using manager server edition, and i have noticed images “may not” be compressed.. as the server manager i can already see how in the long run this may be a catastrophic issue on the vps performance..

Qn, is there image compression when someone uploads an image in manager? Or it just retains original size and dimensions?

Suggestion; I propose the following

  • Image compression admin setup feature to manage all images in manager, new uploads, and those already uploaded
  • Dimensions setup, eg when someone is uploading an image if i have setup square the someone has to drag to take a square part of an A4 document image being uploaded.

Furthermore, we could introduce Manager Data Lifecycle Honestly there is no need to store 15 years worth of accounting data in manager at a time.. it would be great for administrators to introduce data policy.. just like we have Lock date feature we could have Lock data feature.

This means, data for lets say 5 years only would be available in manager, the rest will be required to be exported as Backup, to be used only when needed.

but in the end we could always set a simple version of this implementation while we wait for the big change.. we could introduce Business Data Limit.. we provide storage limits for users, the administrators can set this up. Eg user A (100mb) user B which is a bigger business (300mb)
