# Importing Square transactions into Manager

Can you export transactions from Square? What formats are available?
Generally speaking, I do not think you need to import individual transactions. You can just enter single receipt (daily total) into Manager.

You can export in csv format. Up until now I’ve been using manager to generate invoices / receipts but am looking at using Square to generate the receipts. I wasn’t sure if there was a way of importing these individual transactions into Manager. As you mentioned, a daily total single receipt might end up being the way to go.

Batch create (or possibly the API) could be used to do this.
The question you will need to address is; does the result justify the effort? Or to put it another way, after you have done this, if you needed transformation level information where would you look, Manager or Square?
