I’ve barely used it, and wasn’t really monitoring system usage, but 31gb just doesn’t seem right.

What size are your business files. Please share a screenshot from your Businesses Page
Mine is running at 223MB with the database loaded. Does seem excessive. Do you have any 3rd party application boosters that may be causing this?
Is this happening on regular basis or this is once-off? If it’s once-off, then just ignore it. Manager is using ElectronJS and if there are memory leaks which are difficult to reproduce, they typically don’t get fixed. Restarting the app fixes the issue anyway.
