Our company allows Sales Team to do sales only, and we have separate team to collect payment.
We want to allow sales team to issue sales invoice only. We do not want sales team to do RECEIVE MONEY function. How can we do that?

Yes, i tried, if the sales were given access to.
1/ Sales Order.
2/ Sales Invoice.
And
View/Create.
then they can make RECEIVE MONEY.
If the sales man were give access only to
1/Sales Order.
Then we can protect Sales Man from RECEIVE MONEY.
May i suggest,
- RECEIVE MONEY function should be UPDATE facility. (Not in Create Facility)
- Can we trace who (Which users) did RECEIVE MONEY?
(We afraid, MIS USED of Receive Money function.
There is an audit trail feature in Cloud and Server Edition, but from what I’ve seen it’s very basic and won’t necessarily give you this level of visibility. However, it’s worth playing around with - I haven’t tested it thoroughly.
My suggestion would be to do this for now. Perhaps try setting up a process where the sales team creates a sales order, and someone back in the office converts that into an invoice on their behalf?
