Is there a way to put horizontal lines (internal borders) on my sales invoices? I use long descriptions for my billable time, which causes each line-item to roll over onto more than one printed line, often making the invoices look a bit of a mess because the line-items aren’t evenly spaced vertically. It’s made worse because the dates aren’t in their own column but instead become part of the description, and when the description itself wraps to a second line, it left-aligns with the date so the dates no longer stand out.
I seem to remember a feature in the distant past where the user could tweak the HTML code behind an invoice, but I think that’s gone now.
Three other invoice-customizing questions/wishes:
- Is there a way to put the dates in their own, separate column?
- Line items seem to sort themselves automatically from newest to oldest. Is there a way to reverse the automatic sort, other than doing it manually by dragging items up and down?
- Is there a way to make the word “hour(s)” or “hr” appear with the quantity when that’s what it is?
