Issue Description:
- Goods Receipts Entry: Materials received are successfully recorded under inventory, which updates stock levels appropriately.
- Utilization Tracking: When materials are used for a project, there is no direct mechanism to deduct these from inventory and classify them as “utilized” for a specific purpose (e.g., project-wise consumption).
- Impact: This limitation forces us to adopt workarounds that involve journal entries or custom reports, which can lead to inefficiencies, manual errors, and lack of clarity in project costing.
Feature Request:
We kindly request the inclusion of a Goods Utilization Module or an enhancement to the existing Goods Receipts feature to allow for:
- Project-Wise Allocation: Direct allocation of inventory items to specific projects or jobs.
- Utilization Tracking: Automatic deduction of consumed materials from inventory with clear tracking and reporting.
- Reporting Integration: Generate reports showing received, utilized, and remaining goods, categorized by project or cost center.
