Generating Reports for all accounts (Control and Subsidiary Accounts)

Please, how do I generate a report that will show all my accounts, both control and Subsidiary accounts ion the single report?

Under liabilities, i have a control account as Creditor’s account, i also want to see the accounts and respective balances that make up the creditor’s account.

I need this for Audit Purpose. I have read through previous topics regarding this but no potent solution. Kindly advice me on how to go about this, even if it means using the custom reports to do it. I just need a way out.

Hello @alaovictor

For This Just Click On The Figure Appearing on The Balance Sheet And you will See all The Subsidiary Accounts with balances that are Grouped Under That control Account.
but
if you want a specific report for Each Control Account Which Shows The List Of All Subsidiary Accounts with Balances that Is grouped Under That Control Account is currently not available as Built in report. and it is also not possible with the help of Custom reports As far As i know.

At each state of drill-down that @Omnipotent.inc describes, you can copy to the clipboard and paste into a spreadsheet to create your own report.

@Tut, this works good but not when you have a lot of accounts in the control account.

I still strongly think that the general ledger transaction report must show transactions for each individual account in a control account and then sum their balances up to get the balance for that control account.

Many of the auditors including tax auditors out here only want general ledger reports for their auditing.

Users would save time and have a cleaner and compact balance sheet if this suggestion was added.

Take a look at the screenshot below. To have their transactions presented individually on the General Ledger transactions report, we created a control account for all of these bank accounts.
