I can have option to put

But after I update to the latest version. I can’t change line by

What custom field are you referring to?
Line custom fields can not use a drop-down list
Elsewhere they work as expected

In a regular custom field (not line-item), that has never been necessary. See @Joe91’s first screen shot.
