May we delete unnecessary units of inventory items and inventory kits?
Not if there are any transactions referencing them. Instead, you make them inactive. Read the Guides: Use inventory kits | Manager and Create and manage inventory items | Manager. Information on making items inactive is near the end of both Guides.

Yes, you can delete unit names. Edit the inventory items in the Inventory Items tab. Be aware that the unit names will disappear from previous transactions where they have been used.
