# Custom Report with Master Data Only

i want to request for a feature in custom report which allow the users to create a custom report which shows Only Master data With Multiple Filters ( Filtered by Custom field ) Not By Transactions or Dates.

There is nothing in Manager named “master data.”

Master Data means the data which are not Regularly edited ( once created Rarely edited ) like Customer code , Starting balances , Name of Customer , Fixed Assets Name & Description Etc.
In context of manager it includes The data which we enter while creating Any Asset or liability account and Income or Exp account. Like Chart of Accounts

For example customer count by region would be a useful business statistic to get from a master records custom report.

Unfortunately master data only reports have not been possible since the reimplementation of custom reports.
I can fake some - for example for me each new customer comes about on first sale so has a transaction - so I can get a customer list (group by customer), but simple things such as a price list for non inventory items (services) are no longer possible.
Could Reintroducing Support for master data in custom reports perhaps at least be tagged as an “idea” for consideration. Thanks!
