Custom Fields issue

I’ve added a custom field for UOM (Unit of Measure) at the line item level in both the Invoice and Delivery Note forms. The issue I’m facing is that when I clone an Invoice into a Delivery Note, the data in the custom UOM field doesn’t get carried over.

Is there a way to automatically copy this custom field data during the cloning process?

Please show a screenshot of your Custom Field’s edit screen.

Also, why don’t you use Non-inventory Items?

This way you can define your UOM for each item without having to resort to Custom Fields.

thanks but issue is resolved. what i was doing was that i was creating different fields for both documents. what i did now i created one field for both documents and it is now perfect. Thanks for helping
