Imagine that I run a property company and I have 6 properties in a Portfolio.
Typically, I would class ‘Rent’ under Rent or Sales. I’d class Loans as Loans under liabilities. Bank Charges as bank charges and so forth in the man Chart of Accounts.
I’d like to ‘make a note’ of Rent, Bills, Costs, Loans, etc against a specific property. I’d also like to be able to run a report against a specific property, to show for example the total spent in an FY, the total income and so forth.
Would a Custom Field be the best way to do this? Or is there a better solution?
