As per [[17.9.63] Cloud edition now supports custom domains](https://forum.manager.io/t/17-9-63-cloud-edition-now-supports-custom-domains/11731)

You have to create CNAME record. Not A record.

Into `CNAME` field, you can enter your `xxx.manager.io` domain name.

Class : in
Type : CNAME
Record : [xxxxxxxxx.manager.io](http://xxxxxxxxx.manager.io)

Yep. Go ahead and try if cloud edition is now accessible via your custom domain.

I reset the DNS of my website, so then I have to re-fill the CNAME of [xxxxx.mydomain.com](http://xxxxx.mydomain.com) to record the [xxxxxx.manager.io](http://xxxxxx.manager.io)

How long it takes the process until my [xxxxx.mydomain.com](http://xxxxx.mydomain.com) could be opened like [xxxxx.manager.io](http://xxxxx.manager.io)
?

Read the new Guide: [Manager Cloud](https://guides.manager.io/17520). It depends on your provider.

I did, you can read my conversation with @lubos and I succeed to record the CNAME. But my provider reset the DNS, then I have to record again the CNAME and I’m not success yet. Why?

What happens when you ping your custom domain? Does it ping the same IP address as pinging your `xxxx.manager.io` domain?

If it does, your custom domain should work.

What if I want to get my domain (not subdomain) pointing to my [manager.io](http://manager.io) URL?

this is related to your domain provider and not Manager. you should find help related to your DNS settings with your domain provider.

In Godaddy’s settings page, when I create a CNAME with these values it works:
_Type Name Value_
_CNAME accounts [myaccount.manager.io](http://myaccount.manager.io)_
_CNAME www @_

But adding a new A record (with the IP of the server) will show an error message:
_The record: A @ 52.74.xxx.xx_

The error message:

# This site can’t be reached
