# Create a Project from Sales Order

Hi @lubos, would you consider adding something like this to the program,

That will not work. The Copy to function copies one individual transaction to another transaction. Projects are a way of collecting income and expenses from many transactions into a report.

Anyone who knows little about programming knows that what I’m asking here is possible and even easy to do. The only question is whether @lubos thinks this is a useful extension of his program. Personally, of course I think it is.

I did not say it could not be done. I will say, however, it is not as simple as you claim. And it would require major revisions of basic aspects of the program.

That is simply not true and if you don’t believe me ask @Lubos. But this discussion is going nowhere so let’s agree to disagree and leave it to @Lubos to decide whether he adds it or not.
