Cost of goods not being posted

Hi all

I am not sure if I am doing something wrong but my Cost of Sales does not seem to be posted automatically.

I have an Inventory item as follows :

When I purchase,

the posting are correct:

However, when I sell partially it does not seem to be posting the CoS.

and the Inventory account reflects the incorrect valuation:

What am I doing wrong?

In continuing to analyse this, I see that if I make the sale the full qty of what I purchased, the posting does not reflect the CoS

but the summary reflects correctly.

Any ideas?

I came across a post that suggested I “Recalculate” in the Inventory module and this seems to have solved the problem.
