Correction on a cash transaction

I made a cash transaction of a debtor , but on the wrong date . I want to remove this but that does not work. How do I correct

Go to the transaction in your Cash/Bank account and click on the edit button

There you can change any data and click the Update button or click on Delete button to remove it
