Column headings in themes

Hi,

I have added a new column heading on my quotes to show an Item No. But the column shows between the Description and Amount Column.
How do I get this to be the first column, as it seems quite pointless have an Item No in the middle of the document.

If I click ‘settings’ → ‘Themes’ and view the new built in themes, I see that the Item number is the first column, so how do I achieve this on the default quote template ?

Thanks,
Mike

You would likely have to create a custom theme to achieve that.

Programming advice is a little out of topic on this forum, so if you need assistance with creating a theme it would be best to hire a local professional.

That said, there is some limited advice regarding this type of thing on the forums, so a search may give you enough information to go on.

Thanks Shane, but all the built in themes already appear to have an ‘Item’ column, and its the first column when you view any of the built in themes. Yet when I start to enter a quote, that Item column shows after description…

There is a Guide with code showing how to add line numbers to a theme.

Thank you Tut,

Figured there had to be a way…
