Cloud Edition - two different calendar behaviours?

I had a problem with custom date yesterday with my cloud account as the calendar was not showing and it was reset, but now I have 2 different calendar behaviours depending on which function I use.

When I enter bank receipts or payments, I see the original calendar.

This calendar jumps to the date on the calendar when I type in the date as text manually.

However, when I enter a Journal entry, I see a different calendar behaviour.

This one does not jump to the date when I enter the date text, rather it cancels my date entry and reverts to today’s date and I am forced to use the controls on the calendar in order to change the date, which I find a bit annoying and less efficient.

Is this by design or is there a bug?

By looking at the calendar navigation button from those two image. It is by design. The issue is consistency. Two different calendar with its own berhaviour.

Date pickers are being systematically replaced throughout the program in stages. What you see is the result of that process not being complete.

Thanks. Is the first one being replaced? That’s too bad - I find entering dates with it more efficient and less time consuming.

Exactly.
As the new one doesn’t have have ‘Today’ button which is very convenient and also the current date is not as highlighted or visible in small screen than the old one.
