Change User on Desk Top edition

I have maintained the books for the small unit complex, where I live. I would like to step down from this position and allow a new user to continue. Can this be done? We would like to maintain continuity of accounts and financial history that already exists on Manager.
Appreciate any assistance and recommendation given as I cannot seem to find where this topic has been discussed previously.

All you need to do is have the new person install Manager on their machine. Then make a backup on your machine and have the new person import it onto theirs.

Change User facility is not available in desktop edition
Desktop edition is single user platform
